What is a pension fund? Why pay attention to accumulation management fees and what does it mean? What are the tax benefits in the continuing education fund and what is a loss of working capacity anyway?

Even before I became a doctor, in my previous position in the capital market division of the Ministry of Finance, I encountered countless policyholders, a significant minority of whom were doctors, who were lost in everything related to the exploitation of pension rights and understanding this complex world that sometimes sounds like Chinese.

Over time and following requests from companies and friends of the profession, the need arose to formulate a basic "tool kit" for doctors that provides basic and practical knowledge and actually teaches the embarrassed about an important, if not really significant, field in our lives. The lecture was built in combination and in cooperation with the best experts in pension consulting and is unique in that it provides an initial basis for a language that doctors do not know how to speak: the language of insurance and pensions.

The lecture does not constitute individual pension counseling, and is intended for groups of doctors and doctors in all the various stages of training and for the purpose of deepening and establishing knowledge on the subject.

The duration of the lecture is about two hours and it covers the following topics:

1. Introduction to pension insurance - the stratified system in Israel, and the National Insurance.

2. Pension insurance products - pension fund, executive insurance and provident fund, and the differences between them.

3. Insurance coverages and their importance - coverage for old age and survivors, loss of working capacity.

4. Management fee mechanisms.

5. Understanding a payslip.

6. Understanding annual reporting to the insured.

7. Further education fund.

8. Winning tips in organizing and managing the pension portfolio.
